On a cold and rainy day, I met up with Angela, Jonathan and their dog, Gatsby, at the train station in Harpers Ferry.
Engagement sessions are a great way for us to get to know each other so we started just outside of the station so as to be protected from the rain. Once the rain slowed down, we made our way to the confluence where the Shenandoah and the Potomac river merged. There we shot through the rain and the wind and took refuge from the weather in a nearby building and warmed up with some coffee at a corner cafe. We ended up spending more time together than any of us had anticipated and made our way around Harpers Ferry, playing games, talking about our lives, and their upcoming wedding.
I loved how the photographs from this session turned out. It looks as if it was just another beautiful warm day outside and you really couldn't tell that it was cold and windy...other than the seeing them in their jackets...because they kept each other warm throughout our session. Thank your Angela and Jonathan!
